Luma apiculata

A fast growing hedging species that is suitable for creating tightly clipped formal hedges and topiary. Appearance is very similar to traditional buxus species however grows much faster, creating a hedge in short period of time.  Hedges can be maintained as low as 0.5m up to 3.0m tall. Often used for topiary forms as well as cloud pruning.

full sun through to part shade

Plant spacing: 4 per meter for low hedges (less than 50cm) or 2 per meter for tall hedges (more than 50cm tall)
