Collection: running bamboo

Bamboo plants can either be clumping or running. Clumping bamboos grow to a specific width and do not spread beyond this. Running bamboos form large thickets and must be grown in containers to control their spread. In ground planting of running bamboo species should only be undertaken by qualified landscapers familiar with methods of root containment and only on rural properties with sufficient space.
