Hakea laurina

Hakea laurina, Pin-cushion Hakea has highly ornamental globular red flowers with white pin-like stamens and grey green lance shaped foliage. Flowers are useful as cut flowers as well as being bird and wildlife attracting. Drought and wind hardy, Pin cushion Hakea is suitable for screening or as a stand alone feature shrub.
